This advertisement is in continuation of advertisement No. OCES/DGFS-2007 published in December 2006 for the selection of Trainee Scientific Officers in ‘BARC Training School and its affiliates’ (training centres at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd-NPCIL, ‘Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology-RRCAT’, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research-IGCAR and Nuclear Fuel Complex-NFC & Heavy Water Board-HWB).

An additional opportunity is now being offered, for those who have not appeared for the GATE exam, through an all-India written examination to shortlist candidates in seven engineering disciplines, namely, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science and Instrumentation for selection to ‘BARC Training School and its affiliates’ through interview. Those who applied with GATE score in December’06 can apply again for the written test.
